Important Tips for Maintenance

To ensure the normal use of equipment, make sure to only use the device under the environmental conditions shown in the user’s manual. Clean the outer portions of your instruments or application regularly and as disrupted in the manual.

Be careful to avoid any high voltage conditions above the instruments or applications rated voltages when probing circuitry or connecting to power. Always refer first your user’s manual before operating your appliance for the first time. All manuals that apply to your product are available on this site after product registration.

All our instrument, applications and products will perform as designed when it has proper ventilation and heat dissipation. But, as with all electronic components, electric components and other interior parts do have thermal limits. Keep the ventilation ports free of obstruction, avoid using the instrument placed on top of a soft cushion-type surface, and allow sufficient clearance between the device and a wall or other large objects which could obstruct airflow. Do not put instruments near a heater or oven.

If a problem is found, immediately power-off the instrument. When in use, if smoke or a burning smell occurs, immediately shut down the device. Please contact us for assistance by using our help-desk.

For Ascend Electronic Instrument or Product that needs to have calibration, perform the self-calibration routine regularly. For instruments with no self-calibration feature, contact Ascend Electronic for calibration. Calibration can help in reducing errors caused by the environment in which it is being operated.
