Protect your Product Warranty

The following warranty information applies to all Ascend Electronics products purchased directly from Ascend Electronics or through Ascend’s representatives or distributors. Warranties for products purchased outside Ascend Electronics network must be serviced by those selling agenesis and not by Ascend Electronics, except only to cases where a product warranty agreement exists between Ascend Electronics and an outside agent.

The warranty period starts from the date of the valid certificate of purchase (receipt or invoice). To activate your possible warranty claims, all laboratory instruments, such as Laboratory Power Supplies, Power Loads, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, etc., must be registered immediately after purchase using the Ascend Electronics Registry Form, available online on this webpage. NOTE: The starting date would adopt Ascend Electronics manufacturing date for products not previously registered when submitting a claim.

In the event of a sale or product transfer by the original purchaser to a third party when the product is still under warranty requires a Product Registration by the third party to maintain the warranty.

Ascend Electronics warrants its products’ mainframe and accessories in materials, workmanship, and technologies within the warranty period. Ascend Electronics guarantees the free replacement or repair of products that are approved as defective during the period concerned.

Warranty periods are product and contract-specific. In the agreed warranty period, any hardware or software errors that occur due to quality or workmanship flaws will be examined and repaired or replaced, at Ascend Electronics discretion, by the Ascend Electronics Maintenance Center or its authorized maintenance branch at no charge.

The warranty is void if:

a) Accidental damage occurs during transportation (please confer with the insurance agency or transportation company on the compensation).

b) Malfunction or damage caused by misuse according to warnings in the product documentation or using or storing in an environment outside of the specification’s limits.

c) Surface damage by human-made factors, like burning, distortion by force, etc.

d) Repairs made by anyone who is not from Ascend Electronics Maintenance Center or an authorized maintenance branch.

e) The product seal is broken.

f) Accident damage caused by using a power cord or a power adapter not approved by Ascend Electronics.

g) Malfunction or damage caused by natural calamities, like earthquakes, lightning strikes, etc.

If the received products have exceeded the warranty time period or the lifetime warranty, Ascend Electronics will still provide the related repair and/or maintenance services. However, the product owners are responsible for the repair and or maintenance charges, the return shipping charges, and any additional costs.

Ascend Electronics assumes partial maintenance responsibility, which is reasonable and operable, and refuses to accept any other obligation for the damage caused by the customers’ faulty operation.

No Liability & No Promise Clauses

Ascend Electronics will not be liable for the inevitable, indirect, or supplementary damages of the product purchasers or third-party users caused by its product deficiency; for example, loss of profitability, loss of sales investment, loss of business image, or enterprise interactional obstacles. Besides, Ascend Electronics has no liability for the deficiency of other apparatus, equipment, or facilities caused by its product's operation.

The warranty above applies to products sold by Ascend Electronics and its authorized dealers, and any other form of warranty should be based on this.
